Youngkin presented the second 2025 Spirit of Virginia Award to New Creation VA at a ceremony in Harrisonburg, Virginia. New Creation VA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was honored for its exceptional work in combatting human trafficking through a creative local and global approach. The organization partners with over 90 groups across five continents to provide dignified work opportunities for individuals rescued from, or vulnerable to, human trafficking. The award was presented to New Creation VA’s leadership in the presence of local officials, supporters, and community partners. Following the presentation, the Governor and First Lady highlighted the organization's innovative programs, which focus on education and job creation to break the cycle of exploitation and make freedom possible.
