A Message from the VFRW President, Nancy Russell
It never ceases to amaze me how biased the media is. They are getting worse and worse about burying good news, and only reporting either bad news or bad opinions about good news! This week's column is just going to be a list of things you might not know since the media doesn’t report anything favorable about President Trump or Republicans. Use these talking points when you are getting your friends and neighbors to the polls!
1. We have the largest decrease in violent crime since 1936; the murder rate has dropped to 4.1 per 100,000 residents – the lowest since the FBI started the measurement.
2. In the last fiscal year, the Treasury Department stopped $175 million from going out to deceased “recipients” – due to Senator John Kennedy’s bill that requires the Social Security Administration to check death records and remove dead people from the rolls. 3. Zero illegal aliens were released into the U.S. during the last twelve month. All it took was a new President to solve the border crisis.
4. President Trump has announced this week a public/private partnership that will build the largest new shipyard since World War II in the Baltimore harbor.
5. The Department of Justice is prosecuting non-citizens for voting; more were prosecuted in September than during Biden’s entire four years – something all Americans care about (well, almost all Americans!)
6. During Trump’s presidency, over 1,000,000 private sector jobs have been created. Manufacturing jobs have increased and the labor participation rate is increasing.Government jobs are decreasing, and overall jobless claims are at the lowest level in 55 years. Manufacturing activity is up for the 9th month in a row.
7. To follow up, in August, 162,000 private sector jobs were created and another 90,000 private sector jobs were created in September.
8. More than 70,000,000 children have now been auto-enrolled into Trump accounts, which will provide a financial start for these children when they reach age 18.
9. In Iowa this week, President Trump announced the largest ever steel plant that will be built by Mesabi Metallics there.
10. America.gov was introduced, which will give Americans a one-stop portal to find information about all government agencies and give them the information they need to extract benefits and documents (like passports).
11. President Trump announced a national security deal with Greenland. Yes, China and Russia are now blocked from Greenland and the U.S. military now has access to this vital area.
12. South Korea is investing $200 billion in the United States for energy infrastructure, including eight nuclear reactors, a natural gas power plant in Texas and a liquid natural gas project in Alaska.
13. This week President Trump’s DHHS sent out 21,000,000 payments totalling $2 billion from a fund that was started in 2008 for Medicare premium payment assistance but had never been used. Check your accounts for $90!
14. Due to the three prong strategy in Iran (air power, the blockade and Operation Economic Outcast), Iran received NO oil revenue last week
15. The Coast Guard has recruited its largest class in 40 years.
16. Vice President Vance announced Thursday that the government was stopping H-1 Visa fraud, a move that will protect American workers from having their jobs replaced by foreign workers. Specifically, Microsoft, Adobe, 9 universities and other tech companies are now suspended from using the program.
17. Just in Florida, $1 billion less is being paid in Medicaid spending on behavioral therapy due to fraud prevention programs instituted by Governor DeSantis. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. We have to rely on our own devices to get the truth, because it is not coming from the legacy media OR most social media sources.NFRW President
